Privacy notice

This notice explains how we process the personal data of visitors to agrodata.it and of people who contact us to book a demo, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

2. What data we collect and why

a) Demo requests and contact
When you fill in the demo request form or write to us, we collect the data you give us: full name, farm name, email, phone (optional), province or country, herd size (optional), modules of interest and message.

  • Purpose: to answer your request, arrange the demo and send you an offer if you ask for one.
  • Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Retention: 24 months from the last contact, then deletion, unless a contract follows.
  • Where: requests reach us by email at info@agrodata.it and are also kept in the website’s archive, together with date, page of origin, IP address and browser.

b) Technical browsing data and technical cookies
The server hosting the site automatically logs some technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser) for security and to make the site work. We only use technical cookies, which do not require consent: we do not use statistics, advertising or profiling cookies. Details in the Cookie policy.

  • Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Retention: for a limited period, after which logs are deleted automatically on a rotating basis; server backup copies are kept for about 4 weeks.

3. Who processes data on our behalf

Data is processed by authorised FLAB S.R.L. staff and by providers acting as data processors:

  • website hosting provider: DigitalOcean, LLC, with servers in Frankfurt (Germany, EU), where backup copies are also stored. DigitalOcean is based in the United States: any access to data from the US takes place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, as a fallback, the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses;
  • email service receiving requests at info@agrodata.it: Aruba S.p.A., with servers in Italy.

We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Your rights

At any time you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its processing and receive it in a readable format (portability). Write to info@agrodata.it.

If you believe the processing breaks the rules, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

5. Providing your data

Fields marked * in the form are needed to answer your request. The others are optional.

6. Changes

We may update this notice. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
